As a result of the introduction of the electronic document management system, it became possible, within the framework of the shared information space of the company, to structure and simplify standard processes of joint work on documents, such as preparation and coordination of projects, creation of new versions of the paper, familiarization with documents, consideration, and issuance of orders, control of their execution.
In this way, the electronic document management system becomes the primary tool for effectively interacting with employees of different departments, including those geographically distributed. In addition, web access and mobile apps allow employees to be disconnected from the office workplace and resolve any issues remotely.
One of the most critical functional tasks of the system is protecting information from unauthorized access and confidentiality of documents stored in the electronic document management system. The system allows flexible staff members access to all registered documents precisely by their duties and authority (full access, change, view, no access, etc.).
The ability to log all user actions in the system allows you to quickly recover the work history with the document and its changes. This is important for the conduct of internal checks and the reconstruction of the chronology of events.
