The monoblock is a computer assembled in the same case as the monitor. In other words, a monoblock is a full-fledged computer without a separate compartment with a system block. When sizeable flat LCD panels are used, the monoblock is very similar to the monitor, except that it is thicker and has more controls.
The advantages of monoblocks include the following parameters:
- compactness;
- do not need to connect the monitor, as it is already there;
- large screen diagonal;
- economical – consume less energy than a PC.
