A monoblock, also known as all-in-one (AIO) is a computer assembled in one case with a monitor. In other words, a candy bar is a full-fledged computer without a separate case with a system unit. Nowadays, when large flat LCD panels are used, the AIO looks a lot like a monitor, except that it is thicker and has more controls.
The advantages of AIO include the following parameters:
- compactness;
- there is no need to connect a monitor, as it already exists;
- large screen diagonal;
- efficiency – consume less energy than a PC.
